Prospect Flock

The Prospect Flock was established in 2010 with the purchase of 6 Pedigree Hampshire Gimmer Lambs from the local Primrose Flock.

After a 20 year sabbatical from any livestock we chose to start up a small flock again with these 'namesake' sheep. Shepherding roots were quickly rekindled and by the end of the first year numbers exceed 20, which included the acquisition of 3 Oxford Down Ewes breed cousins to the Hampshire.

The principle aim of the Flock is to produce quality meat and breeding stock to sustain the breeds. The flock is separately registered with the Hampshire Down Sheep Breeders Association and the Oxford Down Sheep Breeders Association.

Freezer Sales

Whole and Half Lambs packed ready for the freezer are available to order subject to numbers between August and January.
